Evan Gatti

Gatti is a junior hailing from New Hope, Pennsylvania. Prior to his college career, Evan attended The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey where he rowed and played football for four years after a one-semester stint on the freshman squash team. While on the varsity crew team, he was awarded first place at the Head of the Schuylkill and won the Mid-Atlantic Prep League four years in a row (2009-2012). During his time at Lawrenceville, Evan was also a senior writer for The Lawrence and a school tour guide. After attending the University of South Carolina for his freshman year, Evan enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences as an Economics major. He also serves as the assistant copy editor of The Heights, the school’s twice-weekly newspaper. In his sophomore fall season, Evan earned a seat in the second Varsity Eight which placed 26th in the Collegiate Eight event at the Head of the Charles and won the JV 8+ at the Head of the Fish. His family includes his father Dan and younger sister, Kristen, a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences.
