James Connolly

James is a senior from Medfield, Massachusetts.  During his freshman year he rowed in the Second Freshman Eight, a boat that would later go on to win an ECAC National Championship that spring.  James battled injuries during his sophomore year, having to sit out most of the fall season, but battled back and earned a spot in the Varsity Four in the spring.  As a junior, James became the team's small-boat expert and raced in the pair during the spring season.  His boat would later go on to win the Petite Final and have the 6th fastest overall time in the pair event at the ACRA National Championship in Gainsville, Georgia.  Before Boston College, James attended St. Sebastian's School in Needham, Massachusetts, where he was a two sport varsity athlete, lettering in both football and lacrosse.  As a senior on the football team, James earned the Ennis Award for Sportsmanship and Character and was also a member of the National Honor Society.  James is an Economics major in the College of Arts and Sciences."
